The first chapter of the book describes the aircraft service in the US Navy and US Marine Corps. Avengers were also flown in other countries air forces: Great Britain and New Zealand. After the II WW they did not disappeared from the skies - they were given various jobs in the USA, Canada, France, Holland, Japan, Great Britain and Uruguay. The last chapter, extensively illustrated with photos of airplane details, describes Avenger construction.
